“It's a pleasant surprise. Working on curation projects I become totally focused on the goals in front of me, so I don't stop to celebrate what has been achieved very often (although I probably should!) On reflection, I've definitely taken a lot of chances these past few years and have learned a lot in the process. I feel so much more confident in my vocation, and what success looks like to me, as a result. 

I appreciate this nomination particularly because it's come from Pete, my lecturer, who works tirelessly on behalf of our programme. It's an honour that he believes the work I've done while at Salford has contributed to the Film Studies department. To me, that is a success in itself.”
