Kiri Pritchard-McLean

Welsh comedian Kiri Pritchard-McLean graduated from the University’s BA (Hons) Contemporary Theatre Practices in 2009, and is now a multi-award-winning comedian, satirist and writer. We are thrilled to have her return to Salford as our 2025 host and compere for Create Student Awards. 

She doesn’t shy away from tackling thorny subjects with humour and grace, often in a deeply personal way. As well as embarking on her fourth and biggest tour to date, she has hosted Live at the Apollo, appeared on ‘HIGNFY’, ‘8 Out of 10 Cats’ and ‘QI’, and is now the host of her own Radio 4 panel show, ‘Best Medicine’. Kiri is the co-creator and co-host of ‘All Killa No Filla’ – a podcast about serial killers that has a gigantic following worldwide.
