Kay Ashton is the author of Kirsty’s Story, and the voice behind the ‘Love, Life & Disability’ vlog and podcast, where she shares real stories that challenge perceptions and celebrate lived experiences. A proud alumna of the University of Salford, graduating with a Foundation degree in Radio Production in 2011, she now lives and breathes diversity, inclusion, and belonging – values which shape everything Kay now delivers across her professional and personal lives, both on and off the mic. 

As a passionate advocate for diversity inclusion and belonging, Kay proudly serves as a trustee for the Childhood Tumour Trust and is also a patron for ParliAble. She received in an MBE in 2011 for her dedication to charity work, having raised in excess of £175,000 over the years.
