Law

Salford Business School offers one of the most practical legal educations, where you prepare for career success studying a rigorous qualifying law degree in a friendly and supportive environment.  We help you hone your professional skills through practical experience with opportunities to shadow working lawyers and judges, cultivate your persuasive arguments in mooting competitions, practise your learning during a year’s work placement and develop your client skills in our law clinics.

We also support you to develop the soft skills employers are looking for: team working, communication, leadership, technology and ethical practice.

Where are we?

The University of Salford is situated a 2-minute walk away from Salford Crescent train station. Direct services run to and from Manchester Airport, Manchester Piccadilly and Victoria, as well as Blackpool, Bolton, Buxton, Blackburn, Southport, Preston, Lancaster, and Barrow-in-Furness.

Multiple busses also run to and from The Crescent, the road right outside Peel Park Campus. 

Teaching takes place in a variety of buildings including Maxwell, Lady Hale and Chapman buildings, which offer stylish modern spaces with lecture theatres equipped with the very latest technology and large screen displays. Lady Hale is also the home for the mock courtroom where the mooting team hone their skills in case presentation and debate.
