Study Law at Salford

Our law degrees offer a hands-on, career-focused education that prepares you for the legal profession. All programmes are approved by the Bar Standards Board, ensuring you meet the academic requirements for becoming a solicitor or barrister.
You’ll gain real-world experience by shadowing lawyers and judges and build strong arguments through mooting competitions. You can also develop your client skills in our on-campus legal clinic, SILKS, and put your skills into practice during an optional industry placement year.

We are based on the green Peel Park campus, just five minutes from Manchester city centre and connected to MediaCityUK. Our student hub, located on the sixth floor of the Maxwell building, offers dedicated support and a variety of study and social spaces for collaboration, independent work, and relaxation between classes.
