Kate Palmer

Kate Palmer FCIPD is Chief Operations Officer at Peninsula and a member of the senior leadership board. She joined Peninsula in 2009 from one of the UK’s leading facilities management companies where she was Senior HR Manager. With a specialist background in facilities management in the NHS (public and private sectors), Kate offers a wealth of Employment Law experience. 

Kate is an expert negotiator in UK tribunals; one notable case was with the NHS’s trade unions over terms and conditions in the Agenda for Change pay system. Kate brings a drive and a passion for constant improvement in Peninsula; from the service to herself and the team. It’s a big part of what shaped the business into the centre of excellence it is today.

With such deep knowledge and long-term enthusiasm for Employment Law, Kate shares her expertise by commenting on topical HR and employment law issues in major publications like the Financial Times and HR Magazine and has represented Peninsula via various media outlets including BBC Breakfast and TalkTV.
