How to find us
By public transport
As part of our commitment to net zero carbon by 2038, we are prioritising more sustainable travel modes on our campus by improving public transport connections and enhancing pedestrian and cycling routes across the University. Where possible, we encourage you to consider public transport options when visiting us at the Open Day.
If you are able to join us by public transport, we are easily accessible by train and bus, with Salford Crescent train station located directly on the campus. MediaCity campus is also accessible by tram.
By car
If you’re joining us for any general information sessions, from 13:00-16:00, please use Irwell Place car park on our Peel Park campus (postcode M5 4WT).
If you're only joining us for your academic content, from 16:00-18:00, please read the below to find out the best place to park for your campus:
Peel Park: Please use Irwell Place car park (postcode M5 4WT)
Frederick Road: Parking is available at Frederick Road using the postcode M6 6PU. We're currently redeveloping our Frederick Road car park and building a new health teaching and clinic building, which means car park spaces are limited at Frederick Road campus. If the car park becomes full, we recommend using Irwell Place car park (postcode M5 4WT) on our Peel Park campus. Please allow 15 minutes walking time to get from Irwell Place car park to Frederick Road.
MediaCity: There are no university car parks at MediaCity. We recommend parking at our Peel Park campus and taking advantage of the free coach heading up to MediaCity at 14:55, 15:30 and 15:45.
Please explore our travel page for further information on how to find us via car or public transport.
