Research Interests

I am currently researching my PhD examining the role of spectacle within the cinematic documentary. Alongside this, I have interests in examining immediacy and immersion within film, addressing it in both its creation and reception.

The nature of research as practice within film Production is one of the key methodologies I use within my research both drawing on my own practical experience but also interviews and discussions with other practitioners and industry.
