Biography
I am a registered nurse specialising in neonatal advanced practice. I work clinically at Leeds Teaching Hospitals as a Neonatal Advanced Practitioner, while also running the MSc Advanced Practice (Neonates) course at the University of Salford.
Areas of Research
I have a special interest in the care of extremely preterm/'micro preemie' infants (born at 22 & 23 weeks' gestation) and the differences in international care that lead to wide differences in survival rates at the edge of viability. I am also interested in maternal breastmilk provision for term infants born with antenatally diagnosed congenital heart defects.
