Biography
Dr Brown is an academic member of staff, lecturing on the Bsc Hons Physiotherapy programme. She has clinical physiotherapy experience within Occupational Health. As an early career researcher, her research interest is Vocational Rehabilitation. Her PhD explored developing a cost benefit analysis tool to analyse the effects of vocational rehabilitation. Dr Brown has worked on several Workplace / Occupational health / Vocational rehabilitation research projects, e.g., Work for Health Programme, Health Work Conversations. (2016); Working With Cancer Service Evaluation. Durham City Council (2013); Evidence-based information and advice to reduce sickness absence: a feasibility study for a clinic trial in physiotherapy practice (2012).
