Biography
I am an architect / technician and BIM Specialist with over 30 years professional experience adapting technologies for the use in architectural practice and the construction. Projects undertaken range from small refurbishment projects to large infrastructure projects. Experience has been gained working in the UK and internationally working for central government and private practice. Roles undertaken in architectural practice have included those of CAD Manager, IT Manager, Quality Manager and Process Improvement Manager.
Recent work has included the development of BIM methodologies and applications based on Lean Principles. I have completed a Phd on BIM implementation and Lean and amf currently employed as a lecturer in BIM and Design at the University of Salford.
