Biography
I am a Lecturer in Law with a research focus at the intersection of constitutional theory and artificial intelligence. My work examines how the growing use of AI in the production and circulation of information is reshaping constitutional structures and the conditions under which democratic authority is exercised. At present, I am exploring the media as a proxy for a broader category of quasi-constitutional actors, asking how AI-driven transformations call into question their constitutional status and function. I am especially interested in the implications for core constitutional principles, including legitimacy, accountability, deliberation, justification and the formation of public reason. My research takes an interdisciplinary approach to understanding how emerging technologies are reconfiguring the institutional foundations of contemporary constitutional orders.
