Biography
My name is Matt. I have been with Salford University for the past five years, teaching on this course. I am also an alumnus of the university, having completed my Nursing Degree and CBT training here.
Currently, my clinical practice is focused within Acute Mental Health Services, where I work with individuals presenting with complex psychological issues. I have also gained experience across various service areas, including Talking Therapies, Early Intervention for Psychosis, and Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS). I am dedicated to the principles of CBT and actively incorporate this approach into my ongoing clinical work.
My research interests include trauma-informed care, CBT for complex mental health difficulties, and ADHD. I am an EMDR Consultant, accredited by relevant professional bodies, and I maintain my MNC registration.
