Biography

I am a Registered Mental Health Nurse with over 13 years of experience.
I have worked across different Mental Health Services both within the UK and in Ghana. I have experience working in Mental Health Assessment Units, Community Mental Health Services, working with Adults with Learning Disabilities, and Forensic Mental Health Services( Low and Medium Secure).
Currently, I am a Lecturer in Mental Health Nursing and teach different Modules including Evidence-Based Intervention in Nursing, Field Specific Care Needs, and Establishing Integrated Mental Health Nursing Practice in the BSc. and MA pre-registration Nursing Program.

Areas of Research

My Research Interests are:
- The use of Restrictive Practices within the Secure Mental Health Service and its impacts on Service Users.
- Medication Errors within Mental Health Services.

Teaching

Teaches on the Pre-Registration BSc and MA Nursing Program.
Modules thought include:
