Research Interests

My research interests are focusing on terrorist propaganda and I am particularly interested in exploring what role Internet, media and social media play in the recruitment process and radicalisation. I am also keen on using knowledge from other disciplines (marketing, linguistics, art, drama) to understand the phenomenon of terrorism and counter-terrorism. The geographical regions I am particularly interested in is the Middle East and Eastern Europe.
