Biography
Dr Adam Hart is a Lecturer in Music Technology at the University of Salford. He has a background in secondary education and audio programming, and his research interests involve creative advocacy through interactive technology. His PhD project ‘A Constructivist Approach to Developing Interactive Digital Technologies for Musical Learning’ was awarded a scholarship by the Arts & Humanities Research Council. He is currently exploring the use of Minecraft and other sandbox gaming environments as a mechanism for creatively engaging youth groups in environmental sustainability.
Adam is a member of the British Educational Research Association (BERA) where he is a panel member of the Engagement Committee, and founder and co-lead of the Neurodivergent Researchers Network. He is a former convenor of the Arts-Based Educational Research SIG.
