Salford announce the launch of new Artificial Intelligence Course

With artificial intelligence poised to play a growing role in our daily lives, the University of Salford has announced the launch of postgraduate course that will equip students with the skills required for this area of growth and address the skills gap that we face. 

The course in Artificial Intelligence (AI) is available from January 2023 and can be studied at studied at either MSc or Postgraduate Diploma (PGDip) level with the option of part or full-time attendance.

To be eligible to apply for the course, interested students need an undergraduate degree in a related subject (Computer Science) or relevant industry experience. On the course you will make discoveries in data and learn how to apply AI to businesses and organisations. Emphasis is placed on real-world experience with industry placements playing a pivotal role in the teaching and learning.

Professor Sunil Vadera, Programme Lead for the AI course said: “We are delighted to offer this new and exciting program that is a direct response to the exponential importance of AI and the role it plays in our digital lives.

“At Salford we strive to provide our students the skills for the future with this course being a a perfect example of how we adapt and pivot to the ever-changing world that we live in.”
