The University of Salford’s Maxwell Building and Maxwell Hall lit up blue last night to show support and appreciation for NHS workers who are on the frontline in the fight against the Covid-19 pandemic.
Maxwell and Maxwell Hall are the second lot of buildings to light up on campus after Salford’s iconic Peel Building shone blue last week.
Estates and Facilities electricians carried out the works last Thursday and the lights will now illuminate campus buildings every evening when dark. Due to the lighter evenings at this time of year the blue colour is most noticeable from around 9pm.
