Salford and Nigeria
We are proud to have students studying with us from all over the world. We've welcomed over 1,000 Nigerian students over the last 5 years to join our vibrant community. We travel to Nigeria regularly to visit schools, universities and exhibitions. We also have links with scholarship bodies like the PTDF, NDDC, Commonwealth and the Commonwealth Shared Fund.
Our courses are designed to be industry focused and many offer students opportunities to go on placement or get work experience.
Our scholarship scheme, the Salford International Excellence Award, is worth up to £5000. We also offer guaranteed scholarships for high achieving students, worth £3,500 for courses in computing, science and engineering, or £2,500 for courses in business, environment and the built environment.
Some of our popular subject areas include petroleum and gas engineering, gas engineering management, advanced control systems, managing innovation and IT, digital business, construction management, nursing studies (top up), law, accounting and finance, health and global environment, and architecture.
