How will I study architecture?

At Salford, we're passionate about nurturing this next generation of architects. Through our range of degree courses, we inspire switched-on students using live project briefs, strong industry links, and a studio-based learning environment.

Hands-on Learning

Group of architecture students

At Salford, we’re driven by industry, so we’ve created a learning environment that reflects the studio culture many architecture professionals experience in their career roles. The intelligent, flexible design of our studios enables us to create spaces perfect for industry critiques, guest lectures and practical design sessions, as well as our annual degree show. With a computer suite for your digital design work, and workshops packed with high-specification equipment, including laser cutters and 3D printers, we’ve created the perfect environment to bring your design ideas to life.

Architecture briefing

Through our close links to industries, you will have the opportunity to work on live industry briefs, experience professional critiques, go on site visits, make industry connections and begin to make a name for yourself in Architecture. You will also have the chance to be a part of our annual degree show, where industry professionals, academics, students, family and friends all come together as our architecture students showcase their project work and their achievements.

Architecture Studios

As a collaborative and highly practical subject, Architecture students learn primarily in our New Adelphi studios.
