Discover sustainable style at Salford’s fashion show and thrift event, with inspiring talks, upcycling stations and a catwalk event.
This September, the University, Salford City Council and GM Business Growth Hub are joining forces to welcome students, local Salford enterprises and third sector organisations to ‘Wear It Again – Fashion, Community & Circular Style,’ a sustainable fashion show and thrift event as part of the University’s Centenary Planet 100 series.
During the event, you will have the opportunity to get expert tips from Salford’s talented fashion students and alumni, on everything from fixing techniques to give clothes a new lease of life, to upcycling and creative ways to transform old garments into something new.
You will be able to:
- Browse and shop a range of pre-loved clothing
- Attend ‘fix and wear again’ workshops
- Visit repair stations led by Salford fashion students
