Northern Care Alliance NHS - FdSc Nursing Associate Case Study
We have a good working relationship with the University, and they provide an amazing apprenticeship programme.
From the recruitment phase of the apprenticeship programme, we have developed strong working relationships with the university Trainee Nursing Associate (TNA) team and ensure that all of our TNAs are supported and trained to the highest standard.
This ensures that patients in clinical areas receive the highest possible care, grounded in evidence-based practice. Our TNAs are trained and supported throughout the two-year programme, and as a Northern Care Alliance TNA team, we support our existing staff in applying for the post by providing training on the role, completing an application form, writing a personal statement, and interview techniques. This ensures that our existing staff have the opportunity to grow and achieve their personal goals and personal development plans.
We have an amazing relationship with the University team that has developed over the last few years. The University are constantly engaging with us as an organisation and has regular communications in various forms. I would highly recommend working with the University of Salford for your apprenticeship training requirements.
