Xinyi Zhang
School of Science, Engineering & Environment
Biography
Xinyi is a PhD candidate at Energy House 2.0 specialising in experimental and modelling-based research on future building performance. Her work combines full-scale environmental chamber testing with calibrated physics-based building models to explore how net zero ready homes perform over time.
With a background in architecture and building performance, Xinyi brings an integrated perspective that connects experimental evidence, building physics, and long-term performance assessment. Her PhD research is fully funded by Friends of Energy House.
