Biography

I am currently a lecturer in paediatric physiotherapy at the University of Bolton. I previously worked as a paediatric physiotherapist for twenty-six years in the NHS and in a children's charitable trust.

I completed my BSc in physiotherapy (1991-1994) at the University of Manchester. I completed my MSc (2012-2017) in Advancing Professional Practice (Paediatrics) at Sheffield Hallam University. I completed my Professional Doctorate (2017-2025) at the University of Salford.

Areas of Research

My research interests lie in the use of sport and physical activity within physiotherapeutic interventions for children and young people with disabilities.
