Biography
Sean is a law lecturer at University of Salford with a focus on the University's law clinic.
Sean is a qualified and practicing barrister. He has previously qualified as a solicitor and seeks to bring his professional knowledge and experience to enhance student learning.
In legal practice, Sean specialises in Immigration law and has been ranked as a leading junior in both Chambers and Partners and Legal 500 publications. Sean has a keen interest in all areas of immigration law, especially nationality law and has a book published on deprivation of British citizenship.
Sean was appointed as a Tribunal member by the MPTS in 2011 and as a Legally Qualified Chair in 2019.
Sean was appointed a Judge of the First-Tier Tribunal in 2025.
