Biography
Sarah qualified from the University of Salford over 20 years ago and worked in acute medicine initially before moving into specialist palliative care in a Hospice environment. Working there clinically for 5 years and then moving into an education position after that and heading up the Hospice Education Department. Sarah has a passion for palliative and end of life care, including bereavement, loss and grief. She teaches this particular subject to primary and high school teachers. Sarah is part of the Pioneer Nurse programme run by St Christopher's hospice.
Sarah teaches on the pre registration nursing programme and a post qualifying module.
