Biography
I have worked as a journalist for 20 years and have a wide range of experience in motoring journalism, gaming journalism and leisure & lifestyle journalism.
I have been published in New Statesman, Journalism.co.uk and write a column in Professional Manager, the official magazine of the Chartered Management Institute, on motoring, business and technology.
While I began my career in print latterly I have worked as a website editor, particularly in hyperlocal websites. I am the academic lead on the student-driven university website Salford Now.
I have taught journalism at four British universities.
I am Module Leader on Digital Journalism at Level 4 and Magazine Journalism at Level 6 and teach on a variety of multimedia modules.
Media convergence, social media, media and politics, fake news.
