Biography
Rebecca joined the University of Salford in September 2022 as a Lecturer in Adult Nursing.
Rebecca completed her Undergraduate Degree in Adult Nursing at the University of Salford in 2004. She proceeded to complete a number of postgraduate modules at Universities across the North West, including Non Medical Prescribing and Clinical Examination and Diagnostics. Rebecca went on to return to the University of Salford to complete an MSc Advanced Nursing in 2013, were her dissertation focus was 'Patient Experiences of Cocaine Induced Myocardial Infarction'. In 2018, Rebecca complete a Postgraduate Diploma in Cardiology.
Rebecca's Nursing career has focused on the care of Cardiology patients. Over the previous 18 years, she has had a number of clinical roles within this specialty, culminating in her most recent position of Cardiology Advanced Clinical Practitioner within a Cheshire NHS Trust.
Rebecca main areas of interest remain Cardiology and specifically Valvular Heart Disease.
