BIOGRAPHY
Dr Peter Eachus is Director of Psychology and Public Health within the School of Health Sciences. He is is an Associate Fellow of the British Psychological Society, and Chartered Scientist. Peter holds a BSc (Hons) Psychology, MSc, PhD, PGCE, AIHE. Peter has taught Psychology at every level from A level through to Masters and PhD supervision.
Areas of research
Terrorism, PTSD, Virtual Reality Exposure Therapy (VRET), Predictive Analytics
Peter contributes to a range of modules on our undergraduate courses including Psychology in Contemporary Contexts, Forensic Psychology and the final year Dissertation.
His main research interests include the role of self-efficacy in the use of computers and the Internet; psychotourism, personality and vacation preferences; and the application of psychology in the understanding and prevention of terrorist’s activities.
Qualifications
Peter holds a BSc (Hons) Psychology, MSc, PhD, PGCE, AIHE.

He is a Chartered Psychologist and a Chartered Scientist.
