Senior Lecturer

Biography

Subject and Program Lead for Sport Rehabilitation;
- Oversees delivery and PSRB requirements for over 200+ students across MSc and BSc programs
- Oversee development of in house SR research team aligning with the REF submission
- Oversee clinical and enterprise processes - 3 clinical services - main MSK rehab clinic, Dance Clinic and BUCs sports centre and trauma clinics
- Developing own research theme area and assessing pathways of PhD via publication and D-Prof process for own personal development

Qualified 20 years in Sport Rehabilitation, 14 years qualified in Strength and Conditioning and Athletics Coaching
- Coached Track athletes at international, national and county level including 5 national championships
- Nearly 4 years with Defense Primary Healthcare (DPHC) working within the MoD setting up bespoke rehabilitation process for over 500 soldiers on base and an additional 5000 attached regionally
- 8 years teaching at UoS
- Worked across age group pathways for both male and females for England and GB basketball
- 6 years with Macclesfield Rugby in National Leagues as Head of Performance and Sports Injury
