Biography

I have currently completed my PhD in Digital Business (How brand equity exists within football official and Fan TV YouTube communities - The case of Arsenal) and have lectured a module titled Digital Business and New Technology at The University of Chester: Centre for Professional and Economic Development. Additionally, I have also been a visiting Digital Marketing Lecturer at Manchester Metropolitan University (MMU).
Earlier in my life's journey I completed my MSc in Digital Marketing at Salford Business School where I was able to gain knowledge on the following areas: Service and Marketing Management, Digital Innovation, Digital Marketing and Analysis, and Search and Social Media Marketing. I then went on to complete my MSc thesis titled: Influence of Social media marketing on Selection of footwear brands by the youth in the UK .
My key interests and technical skills are based on brand equity, digital marketing, digital business, sport in the digital world and netnography.
I have also worked in the hospitality service industry at different venues in Manchester, UK including Old Trafford (Manchester United), the Etihad Stadium (Manchester City) and as photographer for Artville Entertainment in Kenya.

In this role, I have delivered digital marketing professional and digital
marketing essential seminars for both undergraduate and
postgraduate students. In addition, I have supervised 8 final year marketing research projects.

I have been fortunate enough to be a visiting lecturer delivering a
workshop titled: digital business and new technology. In this workshop, I was able to help work-based students find, critically evaluate and present innovative ideas that would enable their organisations to climb the digital maturity ladder. Within the university’s business school, I was also an experienced master’s dissertation supervisor for international business.

During my time as a lecturer, assessor and stand in module leader for
sport in the digital world, I was able to help level 5 business students
understand how modern technology like social media, Artificial
Intelligence (AI) etc. can be used to digitally transform sports events
institutions such as Salford City FC.
