Biography
I qualified as a Registered General Nurse in 1994 and have since gained a BSc (Hons) in Nursing Studies and an MSc in Leadership. My clinical background is in Adult Critical Care areas both locally and abroad, however, since 2001 my roles have been Placement focused. I am the Director of Placements & Practice Learning (Quality Assurance & Enhancement) at the University of Salford. Prior to this, I was Placement Development Lead for Greater Manchester with responsibility for ensuring the provision of high quality placements for all health care learners undertaking NHS commissioned programs.
