Biography
Experienced E&S academic in HE with substantial leadership and management experience in industry (healthcare and pharma) and a PhD in Leadership and Change. Currently, Interim Subject Group Head (HRM) and Senior Lecturer at Salford Business School
Sustained expertise in programme design, validation, accreditation, and quality assurance processes across all levels. Led redesign and CIPD re-accreditation of MSc Human Resource Management programme ensuring alignment with revised professional standards and increasing student recruitment. At an institutional level, I have chaired programme approval panels and Joints Boards of Study with TNE partner institutions, worked with colleagues in quality and governance team to improve assessment practices, chaired student misconduct cases and reviewed External Examiner (EE) capacity. At school level, provided leadership and mentorship to business programme teams going through periodic review and supported the embedding of inclusive assessment practices throughout the school, contributing to improved student outcomes. Sustained an active role in doctoral education, supervising six doctoral students to completion, mentoring new supervisors, and examining extensively.
Prior to entering academia, I trained as a General Nurse (St Mary's Hospital, Paddington) and spent 17 years in the healthcare and pharma industries, in sales and business manager roles, building regional teams and leading people through a range of change situations.

Professional identities and cultures; role and career transitions (including international student transition into UK HEIs); leading organisational change and the future of work.
Currently teaching at MSc level, on the MSc Human Resource Management programme, at UG Level 6 on 'Leadership & Management' and on external modules for professionals.
