Lecturer

Biography

A lecturer in People and Organisations at the University of Salford with over 20 years' experience in higher education. My teaching and research focus on organisational culture, equality, diversity and inclusion and sustainable business. I am passionate about developing innovative, inclusive approaches to teaching and assessment that enhance student engagement and success, including work on decolonising the curriculum. I collaborate with academic, industry and international partners to advance research and organisational practice, while leading initiatives that promote gender equity, staff wellbeing and student success. My work is driven by a commitment to creating positive organisational and societal impact.

- organisational culture
- organisational hybridity
- qualitative methodologies

Teaching

I am a highly skilled HE educator with experience across all taught levels and PGR supervision. I have an innovative and authentic approach to teaching and I am passionate about leading change in inclusive education for students in SBS, the University and the wider HE sector in the UK and beyond. My teaching practice and commitment to high quality, inclusive learning have been evidenced through excellent student feedback, in published works, a knowledge exchange project and in consistent contributions to programme outcomes.
