Biography
After beginning my career as a theatre director, I pivoted mid life into psychotherapy. I graduated from Salford University with an MSc with Distinction and later took a doctoral degree there 2022-2025.
I currently work in private practice as a psychotherapist and EMDR practitioner and also run a public sector counselling service for young people.
Areas of Research
I am passionate about using creative expressive techniques in psychotherapy and counselling. I have extensive experience working with late teenagers. I also work a lot with trauma, often using EMDR as an approach.
