Biography

Dr. Haya Alshehri is a PhD holder from the school of Computing, Science and Engineering. Haya studied Information Systems with specialism in e-commerce, she obtained a MS degree (Hons) King Abdulaziz University, 2004-2007, Master of Business Administration (MBA), a BA from 1996-2000, Princess Nora Bint Abdul Rahman University, and a B.A in History. In 2016 she worked at Cameolord Ltd as an e-commerce and marketing manager. Haya is an academic and researcher with over 10 years of experience. Her principal research interest lies within the field of e-commerce, Information Technology BIM software, Haya is currently working as a lecturer since 2017 in the following rolls: Final year project supervisor for undergraduate, Discipline Research Project (DPR), Postgraduate (PG) Master students’ supervision.

Previous roles and responsibilities:
• Was Teaching Information Technology & Study Skills.
• Worked as SEE Engage Champion for the FY, HNC, CPM and QS programmes. SEE Engage Champion for FY, HNC, CPM, and QS programmes in DSBNE (2021-2023).
• Worked as apprenticeship link tutor duties for degree apprentices, for School of Science, Engineering & Environment.
• Worked in “Academic Progress Tutoring, Level 3” (2020-2022).
