Biography
I am a public health and project management professional with over a decade of experience in clinical practice, maternal and child health programme leadership, and healthcare quality improvement. I hold a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery, a Master's degree in Public Health, a Master's degree in Project Management, and a PhD in Public Health. I have led several health interventions and quality improvement projects aimed at strengthening clinical governance, audit, and patient experience initiatives.
My research and professional interests are focused on advancing health equity by improving access to quality healthcare and by bridging research, policy, and frontline practice.
Areas of Research
My research interests lie at the intersection of maternal health, digital health, health equity, and qualitative inquiry. I am particularly interested in how digital interventions can improve access to reliable health information, communication with healthcare professionals, engagement with healthcare services, and continuity of care. More broadly, I use qualitative and theory-informed research methods to understand lived experiences, user needs, acceptability, accessibility, and the implementation of digital health interventions. My research aims to generate evidence that informs the equitable design and integration of accessible, context-sensitive digital solutions to strengthen healthcare experiences, access, and outcomes.
