Teaching Fellow in Aeronautical Engineering

Biography

I have extensive experience in the Aviation Industry as a Flight Examiner and Flight Instructor, conducting flight tests and teaching students for the issue of Private Pilots’ Licences. My experience includes Air Charter Operations, Cabin Crew and a short period as an Airline Pilot.

Whilst working, I successfully completed an Open University degree which was awarded in May 2006 and I joined University of Salford in September 2009 as a part time lecturer, delivering high quality, well received and successful modules. In August 2021 I was appointed as a full time member of staff.

Teaching

I teach Aviation based modules at all levels.

Research Interests

I have particular interest in the Aviation Industry.
