Biography
Dr Elaine Ball has sustained a rich and successful career in academia. She ran a longstanding flagship Professional Doctorate programme in Health & Social Care where she promoted, managed and contributed to its delivery. A key part of her role is to act responsively to new policy developments and workforce needs to adapt teaching and learning provision. She also runs highly evaluated writing workshops to support post-graduate students in their writing towards master’s and doctoral achievement. Dr Ball has numerous successful Masters’ and doctoral completions and is currently first supervisor to a high number of doctoral candidates. She has a significant research output and currently enjoying a strategic role as Enterprise Lead in the School of Health & Society.
