Biography
Donna Pearce: RN child, Advanced Clinical Practitioner and non medical prescriber. Senior Fellow of Advance HE academy. and Queens Nurse.
A lecturer in pre-registration children and young people’s nursing. Pathway and module lead in post registration specialist practice and lecturer in advanced clinical practice. A member of the school leadership team for inequalities and inclusivity in research.
Donna's research and teaching and learning is informed by real-life experiences, achieved through extensive patient and public involvement and engagement, which serves to amplify the voices of diverse groups to enhance the authenticity of learning experiences and help to improve local service provision.
International exchange coordinator for incoming and outgoing student mobility for Finland.
Areas of Research
Current research involves an evaluation of a special needs school for children in southwest Cambodia, Promoting Healthy Lifestyles in the Early Years An Economic Evidence Review & A Realist Evaluation of an Integration Pilot.
