Biography
Bronwen Wilson is a PhD candidate at the University of Salford researching representations of nonhuman animals on BBC Radio 4. Her research sits at the intersection of radio studies, critical animal and media studies (CAMS), public service broadcasting, media ethics and regulation and animal rights/eco-feminism.
Bronwen's first co-authored journal article was recently published in Camera Obscura (2026). Additionally, her research has been presented at conferences such as, the Media, Communication and Cultural Studies Association (MeCCSA) conference and Psychology of Human-Animal Intergroup Relations (PHAIR) conference.
Bronwen is AFHEA accredited and currently teaches Media Texts (L4) and Media Contexts (L4) on the BA Television and Radio Production programme.
