Biography
Dr Ayesha Chowdhury is a lecturer in Salford Business School at University of Salford. Ayesha has two distinct areas of expertise. Her research focuses mainly in the areas related to International Terrorism Law, Counter Terrorism, Policing of Terrorism and International Human Rights. Teaching wise she also covers the areas of business, company, commercial, company, trade law and practical legal skills.
Ayesha has a PhD in International Terrorism Law where she particularly examined detention models for terror suspects. Prior to pursuing a career in Higher Education she was trained as a Barrister at Law. She was called to the Bar in 2012 at The Honourable Society of Lincoln's Inn. Ayesha also has an LLM in International Business and Commercial law which she completed right after her LLB.
Ayesha is extensively engaged in postgraduate research skills and student support.
