Biography
I am a PhD student at the University of Salford. My PhD research focuses on how Aquaglyceroporin 3 influences cancer stem cells behaviour, lipid metabolism and treatment resistance in triple negative breast cancer.
My previous research was in Microbiology and Virology focusing on proteomics and molecular analysis of E.coli specific bacteriophages.
Areas of Research
My research interest include cancer biology, tumour heterogeneity, cancer stem cells biology, metabolic reprogramming in cancer and therapy resistance, with the aim of improving targeted cancer treatment.
