Biography
My professional work is in both the industry and arts sector. I work as an actor/performer and voice over artist, having worked for production companies such as the BBC and ITV. I have toured and performed internationally as a core member of multi-media theatre company Imitating the Dog, and have also performed and made work with Blast Theory, Plane Performance, DNA, Hauser, Small Change.
Areas of Research
My research is currently diversifying into PaR (practice as research). I'm currently exploring the ways in which solo screen actors can utilise the artistic and technological 'limitations' available to them to create industry facing content for marketing and PR purposes.
I've published in areas related to the politics of participatory art, (the subject of my PhD thesis) Immersive theatre, Democratisation, Theatricality, Interdisciplinary/Contemporary performance, experimental television aesthetics, interdisciplinarity
I currently teach and supervise across all 4 years on the Theatre and Performance and Media Performance programmes (UG) and, and Final Research Project (PG) on the following modules:
•Critical and Textual Studies (Level 4, module tutor & leader)
•Performance Skills: Movement (Level 4)
•Practical Research Project (L6)
•Art and Industry (L7)

•Final research Project (L7)
