Banners have appeared on buildings across the University of Salford campus to thank all NHS workers for their hard work in the fight against the Coronavirus pandemic.
The banners can be seen at the MediaCityUK campus, and on two buildings located on the Peel Park Campus. The banners on the Maxwell Hall building are positioned to face directly onto Salford Crescent, communicating a message of thanks to all those key workers who are still making regular journeys into work.
Vice-Chancellor Professor Helen Marshall said:"We are grateful to all key workers at this time, including our own colleagues and students who are working tirelessly to help the broader NHS response. They are working with Health and Social Care providers and all the other universities in Greater Manchester to find ways in which they can directly contribute to the work of the NHS in dealing with this virus."
