Journalism Awards 2020: Winners announced

Presenters on the night included famous faces and industry insiders, such as BBC presenter Bradley Harris, football coach and pundit Gary Neville and journalist and ITV presenter Lucy Meacock.

In her closing comments to the nominees and winners, Programme Leader Sara Hadwin said: “The creativity, ingenuity and sheer guts you have demonstrated during lockdown has been really impressive. These are crucial attributes which will serve you well, and not just during a pandemic. Hang on to that newfound faith in yourselves, and don’t ever let fear of failure stand in your way. You have been an extraordinary bunch to work with and we are proud of what each and every one of you have achieved.”
