GM leaders share insights into lessons learnt from Covid-19

Categories: School of Health and Society

An Honorary Research Fellow from the University of Salford has undertaken a series of interviews with leaders from across Greater Manchester about challenges and lessons learnt during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Joe Home

For his first interview, Joe Home (pictured) spoke to Andy Burnham, Mayor of Greater Manchester, about his experiences of leading in a global pandemic.

Joe said: “It has been really insightful to hear from these leaders about what they feel has worked well in terms of the response to the pandemic so far, as well as the challenges and areas to improve. I’m looking forward to sharing further perspectives from political and NHS leaders as the series develops.”
