Categories: School of Health and Society

The University of Salford is holding its very own virtual TEDx event this March.

Organised by public health alumni and School of Health and Society students, TEDx University of Salford features nine speakers giving talks on the theme of new world normal.

Among the line-up is Yale School of Public Health Professor, Kaveh Khoshnood and Operation Christmas Child charity founder Dr Dave Cooke.

Event organiser Nisha Kassam said: “We are hoping TEDx University of Salford will be inspiring – we will be showcasing stories of positivity and perseverance as well as exciting new ideas.”

“We hope that we can create an annual event that will employ the skills of students from all faculties and disciplines.”

The event will take place virtually on Saturday 6 March from 10am to 4pm.
