LATEST NEWS: PUBLISHED: 04/12/25
Library winter break service update
From Saturday 20 December – Monday 5 January, Clifford Whitworth will be offering reduced operating hours and service with some closure due to the upcoming winter break.
The Cube, Allerton, and MediaCity library spaces will close for winter break on Wednesday 24 December and reopen on Monday 5 January with their usual opening times.
We’re making some upgrades
LATEST NEWS: PUBLISHED: 20/11/25
IT upgrades in progress across Library spaces
Our IT equipment in several library areas is being refreshed to improve performance and enhance your overall study experience. As part of this work, we’re removing some older DIT equipment from study spaces and increasing the number of docking monitors so you can connect your own device or a library loan laptop. This will make existing spaces more flexible and easier to use.
These improvements are taking place at Clifford Whitworth and Allerton and will continue through to the winter break.
Thank you for your patience while we work to make your study environment even better.
