Mystery Shopper

Become a Mystery Shopper for the Library. Earn while you learn and get paid to explore the Library.

What do Mystery Shoppers do?

Mystery Shoppers are required to use the Library and then fill in a form providing feedback of their experience. The tasks covered are typical of what you would normally do in the Library, so Library staff wouldn't know that you were a Mystery Shopper. For example, you might be asked to:

  • do some printing
  • borrow a laptop
  • find and book a study room
  • find a book

We're also keen to know other general things, such as how helpful staff are, and how neat and tidy the Library is. We'll use the feedback Mystery Shoppers provide to help us improve our services.

Students will be paid £15 for each task they complete.

Please note: International students on Student Visas are not eligible to become Mystery Shoppers.
