Former child actor and Channel 4 star Grace McIntosh has graduated from the University of Salford with a fantastic degree.
Grace, who starred as Eleesha Rahad on CBBC's The 4 O'Clock Club for seven years straight from the age of 11 and who recently starred in Channel 4's The Dog Academy, received her First Class Honours in BA Media and Performance at the Lowry Theatre in Salford Quays today (Friday 21 July 2023)
Grace, from Yorkshire, has been acting since the age of six and was lured in by the course at Salford for the chance to work both in front of and behind the camera. After also trying her hand at voiceovers and presenting content for a variety of channels, she is now seeking a career in the television industry.
Ahead of her graduation, she said: “I feel like I’ve given my all at university and now am looking forward to getting started and applying all these skills to what I want to do.
"I have started working as a production runner on a show being filmed in Manchester as I was just so eager to begin building my off-screen credits too and I want to get a mix of every role that I can try.
“I just want to be working in TV! That’s where I am at my happiest.”
